These things are great! We've been using them for more than six months and we haven't got the foggiest idea how other people are getting themselves burned with them. We've used them to pull pizza stones out of the oven, after cooking pizza's, with hot pots off the stove, and as trivets. Sometimes after reheating something in a corelle or glass dish, when there's no table readily available, I'll use the potholder to hold the overly hot dish in my hand while I'm eating the food. If I've got anything to complain about, it's that the waffle pattern hold lots of water in them after running them through a dishwasher cycle. We have to empty the dishwasher out before moving the potholders else everything else gets wet...
